Luisa Pérez de Zambrana (1835–1922)

Pérez de Zambrana, Luisa (pā’rāth dā thäm-brä’nä). A Cuban story-writer and poet; born at El Cobre near Santiago, 1835; died in 1922. She wrote the novels ‘Angelica and Stella,’ and ‘The Executioner’s Daughter’; several of her poems were translated into Italian and French.
