Paul Perret (1830–1904)

Perret, Paul (per-ā’). A French novelist; born at Paimbœuf (Loire Inférieure), Feb. 12, 1830; died in 1904. He wrote: ‘Life’s Seven Crosses’; ‘Eve’s Fair Daughters’; ‘Neither Maid nor Widow’ (1879), ‘What Love Costs’ (1881); ‘Half-Marriages’ (1881); ‘King Margot’ (1887); ‘The Last Dreamers’ (1890).
