Sarah Morgan Bryan Piatt (1836–1919)

Piatt, Mrs. Sarah Morgan (Bryan). An American poet, wife of John J.; born at Lexington, KY, 1836; died in 1919. Her best-known works are: ‘A Woman’s Poems’ (1871); ‘A Voyage to the Fortunate Isles’ (1874); ‘Dramatic Persons and Moods’ (1880); ‘The Witch in the Glass’ (1888); ‘An Enchanted Castle’ (1893).
