Frederick William Robertson (1816–1853)

Robertson, Frederick William. An English clergyman; born in London, Feb. 3, 1816; died at Brighton, Aug. 15, 1853. His fame rests upon ‘Sermons Preached at Trinity Chapel, Brighton’ (1855–64); ‘Lectures and Addresses on Literary and Social Topics’ (1858); ‘Expository Lectures on St. Paul’s Epistles to the Corinthians’ (1859); and ‘Notes on Genesis’ (1877).
