Rodd, Sir James Rennell. An English diplomat and verse-writer; born in London, Nov. 9, 1858; died in 1941. He published: ‘Poems in Many Lands’ (1883); ‘Feda and Other Poems’ (1886); ‘The Unknown Madonna and Other Poems’; ‘Frederick, Crown Prince and Emperor’ (1888); ‘Customs and Lore of Modern Greece.’
