Harriet Winslow Sewall (1819–1889)

Sewall, Harriet (Winslow). An American verse-writer; born at Portland, ME, June 30, 1819; died at Wellesley, MA, Feb. 1889. She wrote the poem ‘Why Thus Longing?’ Her other poetical compositions were published in a volume of ‘Poems, with a Memoir’ (1889).
