Sinclair, May, pseudonym of Mary Amelia St. Clair. An English author; born at Rock Ferry, Cheshire. Among her published words are ‘The Divine Fire’ (1904); ‘The Helpmate,’ ‘The Judgment of Eve,’ ‘The Creators’ (1910); ‘The Three Brontë’s’; ‘The Three Sisters’ (1914); ‘Tasker Jevons’ (1916); ‘A Defence of Idealism’ (1917); ‘The Tree of Heaven’ (1918).
