Bellamy, Mrs. Elizabeth Whitfield (Croom). An American novelist, writing under the pseudonym “Kamba Thorpe”; born at Quincy, FL, 1837; died in 1900. She wrote: ‘Four Oaks’ (1867); ‘Little Joanna’ (1876); ‘Old Man Gilbert’; ‘The Luck of the Pendennings.’
