Robert Neilson Stephens (1867–1906)

Stephens, Robert Neilson. An American author, playwright, and journalist; born in New Bloomfield, NJ, July 22, 1867; died in 1906. His plays include ‘An Enemy to the King,’ and ‘The Ragged Regiment’; and among his novels are ‘An Enemy to the King’ (1897); ‘The Continental Dragoon’ (1898); ‘Philip Winwood’ (1900); ‘Captain Ravenshaw’ (1901).
