Tappan, Eva March. An American author and teacher; born in Blackstone, MA, Dec. 26, 1854; died in 1930. Among her published works are ‘Charles Lamb, the Man and the Author’ (1896); ‘In the Days of Alfred the Great’ (1900); ‘Our Country’s Story’ (1902); ‘America’s Literature’; ‘When Knights Were Bold’ (1912); ‘The House with the Silver Door’ (1913).
