Benson, Edward Frederic. An English novelist, born, July 24, 1867; died in 1940. His greatest success was ‘Dodo’ (1893), a novel of London society; he also wrote ‘Limitations’; ‘The Babe, B. A.’; ‘The Rubicon’; and ‘The Vintage’ (1897).
