Stanisław Trembecki (c. 1733–1812)

Trembecki, Stanisław (trem-bets’kē). A Polish poet; born near Kraków, about 1733; died at Tulczyn in Podolia, Dec. 12, 1812. His most considerable poem, ‘Zofijovka,’ is a description of a park laid out by the poet’s patron, Count Potocki, for his wife Sophia.
