John Graham Brooks (1846–1938)

Brooks, John Graham. An American writer and lecturer on economics and president of National Consumers’ League; born in Acworth, NH, July 19, 1846; died in 1938. He was instructor and lecturer on economic subjects at Harvard University and at University of Chicago, and was for two years expert in United States Department of Labor at Washington. Author of: ‘The Social Unrest’ (1903); ‘As Others See Us’ (1908); ‘An American Citizen’ (1910).
