Sarah Brownson (1839–1876)

Brownson, Mrs. Sarah (Tenney). An American novelist; born in Massachusetts, 1839; died in New Jersey, 1876. She was daughter of Orestes A. Brownson. Her books are: ‘Marion Elwood’ (1859); ‘At Anchor’ (1865); and ‘Life of Demetrius Gallitzin, Prince and Priest’ (1873).
