William Jennings Bryan (1860–1925)

Bryan, William Jennings. American politician and lecturer; secretary of state 1913–15; born at Salem, IL, March 19, 1860; died in 1925. He was editor of the Commoner (Lincoln, NE), and published ‘The First Battle’ (1897); ‘Under Other Flags’ (1904); ‘The Old World and Its Ways’ (1907).
