Oliver Bell Bunce (1828–1890)

Bunce, Oliver Bell. An American publisher and writer; born in New York City, in 1828; died there, May 15, 1890. At an early age he became connected with the publishing business in New York. Among his books are: ‘Romance of the Revolution’ (1852); ‘A Bachelor’s Story’ (1859); ‘Don’t: a Manual of Mistakes and Improprieties more or less prevalent in Conduct and Speech’ (1883); ‘My House’ (1884); and ‘Adventures of Timias Terrystone,’ a novel (1885).
