Step 1

In steam distillation, the components are immiscible and hence the total pressure is the sum of individual vapour pressures. Consequently, the individual vapour pressure are the partial pressures of the components. The moles of water and ethylaniline are denoted by mA and mB, respectively. The vapour pressure of the water, ethylaniline and total pressure is denoted by PA, PB and PT, respectively.

Step 2

Plot a graph between Temperature and the Total pressure to get the temperature corresponding to the pressure of 101.32 kPa. This temperature is the required boiling point of the mixture. The required boiling temperature is 372.2 K.
