Attached to this question are two examples of indirect proofs. I would like to seek your advice in solving them, and it would be great if you could write out the proofs and I was wondering if the given untrue statement should be used, ommitted, or negated. Additionally, I would like to ask you your advice on writing statement-reason proofs in general.

P.S. This is reffering to statement-reason proofs.

In AABC and ADBC, we have AB DB (given) But AC DC (given) Thus, we can say AABC and ADBC are not congruent Then, ZABC ZDBC Because if they are equal, then by SAS congruence postulate, AABC and ADBC will be congruent, whi ch is not true Now, since ZABC ZDBC 0r ZABEZDBE Thus, AABC and ADBC are not congruent Then, AE DE Because if they are equal, then by SSS congruence postulate AABE and ADBE will be congruent, which is not true Since, AE DE Therefore, we can say BC doesnot bisect AD
