Question

A simple equation that can be used ONLY for dilutions is M1V1 = M2V2.  So if a concentrated solution starts out as 1.36 M and you wish to make 50.0 mL of a 0.286 M solution, how many milliliters of the concentrated solution do you need?

How much water will you add?
