Albinism is an autosomal recessive condition where a person is affected only when two recessive alleles of the gene is present. An albino individual has a genotype of aa. Individuals with other genotypic combinations like AA or Aa are not affected.

Step 2

In this given pedigree, mother of cousin 2 is an albino and must be having genotype aa. The father can either be AA or Aa. Now, as none of the offspring marked as 1, 2, 3 and 4 are albino, the father to have a genotype Aa is not possible. Hence, the father of cousin 2 is has the genotype AA.
