A thin hoop and a solid disk having the same mass and outer radii of 2.8 g and 15 mm, respectively, are released from rest as shown. Each rolls without slipping. Determine the kinetic energy in J and the angular velocity in radian/s of each having travelled a distance of 1.8 m down the 6 deg incline: (a) thin hoop and (b) solid cylilnder. The thin hoop mass moment of inertia Io = m r^2. The solid cylinder mass moment of inertial Io = 1/2 m r^2.
