(a) According to the Thevenin’s theorem any linear complex circuit can be simplified in the form of equivalent voltage and equivalent resistance connected across the load. The equivalent voltage is called Thevenin voltage(VTH) while the equivalent resistance is called Thevenin resistance(RTH). The simplified circuit is shown below:
