Having trouble with conversion factors. The question says write conversion factors ( as ratios) for

a)kilometers in 1 mile

b) Liters in 1 cubic foot

c) grams in one ounce

I need to understand exactly where i get the conversions from.  One of the questions I looked up in the book said to do yards in a meter and the answer is 1.0936/1m. The conversion i see in the book says 1m=1.094 yd=39.36 in

These problems come out of Chemistry Atoms First 2nd edition Chapter 1
