Hi, I am in physic I and they give me the problem  The earth's radius is 6.37×106m; it rotates once every 24 hours. The angular speed is ω = 7.3×10−5 rad/s   The speed of the point on the equator is v = 460 ms They want to know what is the speed of a point on the earth's surface located at 2/5 of the length of the arc between the equator and the pole, measured from equator? (Hint: what is the radius of the circle in which the point moves?)   Please explain in detail how to get this because I can't think of a way to solve this using a radius I'm not sure how to get.
