Emotional dissonance is nothing but the feeling of unrest that occurs when an individual assesses an emotional experience as a danger to his identity. It impacts the individual's personality in a way that the people bury their real feelings and emotions and thus, an individual becomes very dishonest towards his emotions and feelings. And after some time he becomes irritable and prone to anger.
