How is the boiling point of water affected when some salt is added to it?

When salt is added to water, there is dissociation of sodium chloride into sodium and chlorine ions. These charged ions change the intermolecular forces between the molecules affecting the hydrogen bonding. Moreover, an ion-dipole interaction will also be present.
