Revising and editing are the two tasks that are important for the writing process. When revising is done, a second look at the ideas can be taken. Information can be added, moved or changed in order to make ideas clearer, more accurate, more interesting or more convincing. When editing is done, a second look at how the ideas are expressed is taken. Words can be added or changed. Any problems in grammar, punctuation or sentence structure can be fixed.
