Expert Solution
Step 1

Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is an internet and pay-as-you-go system which usually provides on-demand computer resources from software to storage and processing ability.

There are two aspects of cloud computing. The most popular is to remotely run workloads in the data center of a company, also known as the 'public cloud' model, over the Internet. The well-known concepts of cloud computing are all exemplified by prominent public cloud offerings, such as Amazon Web Services ( AWS), Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Azure. Many businesses today take a multicloud approach, simply by using more than one public cloud provider.

The second meaning of cloud computer describes how it works: from raw computation power to application functionality, a virtualized pool of resources available on request. When clients have cloud services , the company addresses these demands through automated automation rather than manual execution. The main benefit is agility: abstract machine, storage and network resources can be used to carry out working workloads as required and to access various prefabricated services.

Examples from common cloud

When it comes to home use, boundaries between local computing and cloud computing often become blurry. Since today's cloud belongs to most of our computers. You may simply use a local software package that uses a virtual cloud machine (Microsoft OneDrive) (for instance Microsoft Office). Microsoft also offers a series of cloud-based Office apps which include Word, Excel , PowerPoint, and OneNote online-only versions which are accessible via the web browser without download.

There are other key examples of cloud computing:

Even, on devices like an iPad or tablet with various electronic documents and sheets on your desktop computers, you can use Google Drive. Yes, most Google features can be divided into cloud computing: gmail, calendar, maps, etc. Google Calendar.

Apple iCloud: The key use for file storage , backup and synchronization is the Apple Cloud service e-mail, contacts, calendar and more. All of your data are available on iOS, iPadOS, macOS or Windows computers (iCloud users have to install the controlling panel). Naturally, Apple will not be obsolete by its competitors, but will sell its Word Processor (Sites), Tab (Numbers) and cloud based app keynote versions that can be used by any iCloud user. Find My iPhone when you lose a device, iCloud is also the destination for iPhone user.

Dropbox: This service was a fast and safe file and storage service for years.
