The nervous and endocrine systems: 

The human nervous system includes the brain, spinal cord, and nerves that is made up of neurons. In response to certain stimuli, these neurons carry impulses from the brain or spinal cord to glands, which secrete products. The endocrine system includes glands that secrete hormones, which are communication molecules that affect various processes such as development, and reproduction. Hormones travel within the circulatory system and produce a characteristic response in target organs. Therefore, the nervous system, endocrine system are interrelated.
