Question

Hello, the question is to simplify:

(1/(x-1))+(3/x)=1/(x(x-1))

I get that you multiply both sides of the reciprocal of the right side of the equation meaning that you get:

(x(x-1))/1 (1/(x-1)+(3/x)=1

But I'm kind of stuck on what to do after.  Sorry, if there is a better way to format equations, please let me know.  This is review on page 530 of Trigonometry 8th edition.  Example 16.
