The image formed by the cylinder of solid glass and clear plastic is inverted in nature. The word LEAD OXIDE when viewed from the back side of the solid glass or clear plastic forms an inverted image of the word. All the letters of the word LEAD OXIDE are inverted. Due to horizontal symmetry of the letters in the word LEAD it appears inverted but the letters of the word OXIDE are in central symmetry even they are inverted it does not appears inverted due to central symmetry of the word OXIDE. So, the words LEAD OXIDE viewed from the other side the word LEAD appears inverted but the word OXIDE does not because central symmetry of the word OXIDE.
