Electrical EngineeringQ&A Librarythe question is have is solve z1/z2 in polar form. z1= 3-j2 and z2=-4+j2. i solved that z1 polar is 3.61e^-j33.69degrees. z2 polar is 4.47e^j153.43 degrees. so i get 0.81 for magnitude. for the angle I take -33.69degrees-153.43 degrees. I get -187.12 degrees. Per my calculator I get 0.8062 so mag is correct but the angle is 172.875. adding or subtracting 180 doesn't get me there. Where am I going wrong?Start your trial now! Question

the question is have is solve z1/z2 in polar form. z1= 3-j2 and z2=-4+j2. i solved that z1 polar is 3.61e^-j33.69degrees. z2 polar is 4.47e^j153.43 degrees. so i get 0.81 for magnitude. for the angle I take -33.69degrees-153.43 degrees. I get -187.12 degrees.

Per my calculator I get 0.8062 so mag is correct but the angle is 172.875. adding or subtracting 180 doesn't get me there.
