Which is normally greater, the energy in ordinary sound or the energy in ordinary light?

Speed of sound – 331.2m/s Speed of light = 2.99x10°m/s As light travels faster than the sound, it contains more energy than that of the sound. The velocity of light is million times than that of the sound. This shows that the energy in a light wave is much more than the energy of the sound. Conclusion: The energy contained in an ordinary light wave is greater than that of the ordinary sound wave.
