Moist air contains water vapors. Density of moist air is less than that of dry air. As a result the moist air containing water vapors rises up in the atmosphere. As we go above the surface of earth the temperature of the air falls. So, at higher altitude the water vapor present in the moist air condenses and form liquid droplets around dust or pollen particles. These water droplets stick together and form clouds.
