Chemical analysis is a systematic method and universally accepted method to analyze the chemical nature of the sample.  It can be primarily of two types – qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.

Qualitative analysis determines the chemical composition of the sample like what are the elements or components present in it. Quantitative analysis determines the quantity of the chemical composition of the sample like how much the components are present and in how much ratio or proportion they are found within the sample.
