To evaluate: The result of an experiment that was conducted similar to module 1.9 “Hypotheses can be tested using controlled field studies” in the textbook.
Concept introduction: Predator and prey relationships are studied under competition in ecology in order to understand the various tropic levels and how their relationships affect the food web they are a part of at that tropic level. Predator and prey both evolve together as a result of competition between them. This enables them to survive in a better way. Predator and prey relationship is a cyclic process and is studied with several models. Predator–prey systems are unstable and are highly dynamic.
