Explanation of Solution

Every person is either born with skills or acquires them over a period. Based on these skills and interests, one chooses a career to follow. A person can be a doctor, engineer, lawyer, sportsperson and many other things as per his/her skills and interests. I had interest in computer programming, I am well versed in multiple programming languages such as C, C++, Java and Python is my core programming language and now a degree of software developer.

Being a software developer, a person must do many tasks such as design, install, test and maintain software. The purpose of software developer is to make manual systems used in various businesses automatic or computer based. He/she must understand the needs of the business, the process that is followed in business operations and the limitations of the traditional system. Based on that analysis, he/she designs and implements software that can help scales up the business and generates more revenue. As a software developer one must perform following list of tasks in his/her tenure:

  • Study the current system.
  • Provide ideas for the improvement of traditional system.
  • Generate detailed specifications and documentation for the developed system.
  • Handle the testing process for the product.
  • Help in manual designing
  • Keep the system updated and provide maintenance after successful implementation.

Software developer is a high paying job and the amount of money one can earn in this domain largely depends one's skills set. As, a software developer, you can earn around $65,000 annually and with experience when you are involved with management team this can go to $150,000...
