Personality is a dynamic combinatin of personal values, strengths, weaknesses and beliefs. Understanding of self help an individual to correlate and communicate well with others in the society. Similar interests, likings and dislikings develop interpersonal relationships like family relationships, friendships, professional relationships, romantic relationships etc.

When it comes to career, personality plays an inportant role. Different personality traits, like interests and skills, will attract to different types of jobs. The more the match between the personality and career, higher is the life and career satisfaction.

Certain factors of peronality like optimism, extraversion, locus of control, emotional stability,self esteem and leisure determines the health and happiness of the person. Personality influences stress perception, coping mechanism options and effectiveness and also affect individual’s health habits.
