Standard of living refers to the aggregate capacity of the individuals to spend on the purchase of goods and services for day to day chores given the fixed income level.
Quality of life can be termed as the level of satisfaction and joy of people in a society that depends on various political and environmental factors and also on the health and education of people.

The novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a virus that has hit the entire world with its devastating effects. Until recently, there was no known vaccine available. A person diagnosed with the virus could only manage with the hope that their immune system would fight the virus. Governments of many countries (including Ghana) have now accepted that ways must be adopted to be able to live with the virus without contracting it. This means that same must be done at the workplace as well. A single person found to have contracted the virus will have a lot of implication on the organisation. This certainly is a source of concern for HR managers in the organisation.

b. Apart from the various safety protocols outlined by the W.H.O. and health sectors of various countries, discuss how HR can employ any four (4) of the various HR practices to help fight this pandemic?
