Negotiating a consumer loan is not always straightforward. One form of loan is the discount installment loan, which works as follows. Suppose a loan has a face value of $1,000, the interest rate is

- When you borrow money to buy a house, a car, or for some other purpose, you repay the loan by making periodic payments over a certain period of time. Of course, the lending company will charge interest on the loan. Every periodic payment consists of the interest on the loan and the payment toward the principal amount. To be specific, suppose that you borrow $1,000 at an interest rate of 7.2% per year and the payments are monthly. Suppose that your monthly payment is $25. Now, the interest is 7.2% per year and the payments are monthly, so the interest rate per month is 7.2/12 = 0.6%. The first months interest on $1,000 is 1000 0.006 = 6. Because the payment is $25 and the interest for the first month is $6, the payment toward the principal amount is 25 6 = 19. This means after making the first payment, the loan amount is 1,000 19 = 981. For the second payment, the interest is calculated on $981. So the interest for the second month is 981 0.006 = 5.886, that is, approximately $5.89. This implies that the payment toward the principal is 25 5.89 = 19.11 and the remaining balance after the second payment is 981 19.11 = 961.89. This process is repeated until the loan is paid. Write a program that accepts as input the loan amount, the interest rate per year, and the monthly payment. (Enter the interest rate as a percentage. For example, if the interest rate is 7.2% per year, then enter 7.2.) The program then outputs the number of months it would take to repay the loan. (Note that if the monthly payment is less than the first months interest, then after each payment, the loan amount will increase. In this case, the program must warn the borrower that the monthly payment is too low, and with this monthly payment, the loan amount could not be repaid.)arrow_forwardUse Python for this question: Craps is a single player dice game, that proceeds as follows: the player rolls 2 six-sided dice once if the total is 7 or 11, the player wins if the total is 2, 3 or 12, the player loses otherwise, the game continues, ... see 2 ... the player the continues to roll the dice repeatedly, until ... the total is the same as the original total (from 1), in which case the player wins the total is 7, in which case the player loses Write a function craps that simulates a single game of craps (may be many rolls) and returns 1 if the player wins and 0 otherwise. Roulette is a casino game that involves spinning a ball on a wheel that is marked with numbered squares that are red, black, or green. Half of the numbers 1–36 are colored red and half are black and the numbers 0 and 00 are green. Each number occurs only once on the wheel. We can make many different types of bets, but two of the most common are to bet on a single number (1–36) or to bet on a color (either red or black). These will be the two bets we will consider in this project. After all players place their bets on the table, the wheel is spun and the ball tossed onto the wheel. The pocket in which the ball lands on the wheel determines the winning number and color. The ball can land on only one color and number at a time. We begin by placing a bet on a number between 1 and 36. This bet pays 36 to 1 in most casinos, which means we will be paid $36 for each $1 we bet on the winning number. If we lose, we simply lose whatever amount of money we…arrow_forward

Now, the minute hand doesn't rotate by the angle 2π/3600 each second, but now it moves according to different angle x. You can assume that coordinates of the centre of the clock are (0, 0) and the length of the minute hand is l. One endpoint of the minute hand is always located at the clock centre; the other endpoint is initially located at the point (0, l). One second later, Harry observes that this endpoint is at distance d above the x-axis, i.e., the y-coordinate of this endpoint is equal to d. Harry is curious about where the minute hand will be (specifically, its y-coordinate) after t seconds. Because t can be very large, Harry can't wait for that moment. In this exercise, you are asked to simulate the stock price starting at $100.00 for 100 days with a daily fluctuation based on the Normal Distribution with mean = 0.0 & sigma = 0.0125. The program will show the daily stock price, the 7-day minimum, the 7-day maximum, the 7-day average, and the 50-day average. The program should also give an indication of "***" when the stock price drops beyond the 50-day average!arrow_forward
- Please answer it in Python Suppose we play a game where each round takes place in the following way: first, we roll a dice, and its result gives the number of points at stake. Then, the player can, if he wishes, trigger his bonus "double account" or his bonus "triple account". Then, the player answers a number of questions, and calculates his percentage of correct answers. The points awarded to the player for that round are then calculated based on the percentage of correct answers and the number of points in play rounded to the nearest integer (for example, with 50% correct answers and 6 points in play, the player gets 3 points; with 45% correct answers and 8 points in play, the player gets 4 points). Finally, this number of points is possibly multiplied by two or three if the corresponding bonus has been used. Write a function points_match that takes as an argument the percentage, the number of points at stake, and as an optional argument the multiplier (which is worth 2 in a double…arrow_forwardThe interest paid on a savings account is compounded daily. This means that if you start with startbal dollars in the bank, at the end of the first day you’ll have a balance ofstartbal * (1 + rate/365)dollars, where rate is the annual interest rate (0.10 if the annual rate is 10 percent). At the end of the second day, you’ll havestartbal * (1 + rate/365) * (1 + rate/365)dollars, and at the end of n days you’ll havestartbal * (1 + rate/365)ndollars. - Programming language is C. I would really be appriciate if you could help me with this. Please provide me with your cashapp, so I can tip you for your work. THANK YOU:) In this project, we shall simulate the operations of an ATM machine. Suppose you’re in charge of this simulation and here is a scenario of what is required to do: The customer will be assigned a random or fixed number for his/her balance. First, the customer is prompted to enter his personal identification number pin (for this case study, we test only if this pin is formed by 4 digits! otherwise, a message like “Invalid PIN, try again . . .” will be displayed) and the user is re-prompted to enter the pin. The customer is given three chances to enter his pin. If he/she fails during the three trials you display a message like “Sorry you can’t continue, contact your bank for assistance!” If the pin is correct (formed by 4 digits), then the system will ask the customer for the receipt ( 1 for YES and 2 for NO ) and a menu…arrow_forwardImagine you are working for a lumber company, and your employer would like a program that calculates the cost of lumber for a customer order. The price per board foot is given in the following table: Pine 0.89 Fir 1.09 Cedar 2.26 Maple 4.50 Oak 3.10 The lumber is sold in different dimensions (specified in inches of width and height, and feet of length) that need to be converted to board feet.
