Volume of Ethanol = 12.5mL

Volume of Water    = 87.5mL

Mass of Ethanol = 12.5mLC2H5OH×0.789gmL=9.86gC2H5OH

Mass of Water   = 87.5mLH21.00gmL=87.5gH2O

To calculate the mass percent of Ethanol

Total mass of the compound = 9.86g+87.5g=97.36g
