Introduction:
Muscles that move the hand are divided into two groups, the extrinsic and intrinsic muscles. Extrinsic muscles are powerful and originate outside the hand and insert within the hand. The short muscles of the hand are called as intrinsic muscles, whose origin and insertion is enclosed within the area of the hand.
