  • Charge of the ion
  • Distance between the center of ion and the oppositely charged end of the water dipole.
Explanation

The charge of Mg is +2 whereas Na and Cs is +1.

The order of size of ions is given by,

  Mg2+<Na+<Cs+

Since the size of Mg2+ is smaller comparing to Na+ and Cs+ ion, the water molecules can easily approach the Mg2+ ion
