A chemical reaction between aluminum and oxygen to form aluminum oxide is a chemical change.

The reaction between acid and base to form a new compound is a chemical change and it is irreversible.

Explanation of Solution

In a chemical reaction, the property of the product is different from the reactant. The composition of the new product is different from the starting reactant. So, it is considered a chemical change. A chemical change is an irreversible process.

Conclusion
