Transcription is the process of production of mRNA from one of the strands of the DNA with the help of an enzyme RNA polymerase. In other words, one segment of DNA is copied to mRNA.
In eukaryotes, the transcription is a little complicated; therefore, a number of activators, promoters are involved in order to carry out the transcription process.
