I chose “Julian Go’s World: Postcolonial thought, Social Theory, and Human Liberation.” by Aldon Morris from Northwestern University, from the Spring 2017 newsletter. Morris summarizes and comments on Go’s book, in which he proposes that social theory and scholarly thought are rooted in the White privilege of imperialism.
