• The operating system of the iPhones and iPads of mobile phones is modified using the unauthorized access and this process is termed as jailbreaking.
• It eliminates the software restrictions.
• It allows the installation of the apps that are not available in official store.

Rooting:

• Rooting is a term used to define the process providing root access to devices such as Android smartphones and tablets.
• It is also complete on devices based on Linux environments.
  • This environment allows commands and applications on the device to run with elevated permissions.
• It allows the user to have administrator level permissions to the OS (Operating system) environment.
