Question
Chapter 13, Problem 18SC
Summary Introduction
Interpretation:
Fostering a sense of autonomy in a one-year-old includes allowing the child to explore and experiment with her food. Is this statement true or false?
Concept Introduction:
Forcing the kids to eat or play or any other activity, usually creates a sense of dislike in them against that particular activity. Kids should be left with the sense of autonomy so that they get more confident. Parents need to be very controlled and determined that they will let their child take their own decision of choice. For example, they should be set free to choose what food they want to eat, rather than forcing them.
