Consider how cities have offerings that rural areas do not. Think about the pull factors such as jobs, schools, and housing, which are not found in rural areas. Now consider the push factors away from rural areas. Families are running out of the little bit of land they have, jobs are scarce, and many areas do not have schools for children. In many cases, there is little food and the water supply is not clean. With such limited resources, people move to urban areas with the hopes of a better life for their family.
