Introduction

Attitudes are underlying tendencies which cause us to react to people and situations with either favor or disfavor, depending on the relevant attitude and the circumstance. In many ways, these attitudes influence our behaviors. Surprisingly, though, the relationship between our attitudes and our behaviors is not always consistent and predictable. The unpredictable nature of this relationship is the basis of research into the A-B problem.
